Monday just wasn't the day for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ensworth Tigers on Monday. While losing is never fun, Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Ensworth are ranked 13th).

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Ensworth, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0-1.

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Glencliff on the 15th. As for Ensworth, they will host Montgomery Bell Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Montgomery Bell Academy's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Ensworth's offense will have their work cut out for them.
