Softball Game Preview: Hamilton Bulldogs vs. Crawford Pirates

Hamilton hasn't had much luck against Crawford recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Hamilton Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Crawford Pirates at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Hamilton is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They lost 16-1 to Clifton.

Emery Parrott made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That RBI was her first of the season.

Even though they lost, Hamilton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Crawford came up short against Robinson on Saturday, falling 15-5. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crawford now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Hamilton suffered a grim 15-0 defeat to Crawford in their previous meeting back in March of 2018. Can Hamilton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
