Basketball Recap: Edmund Michalski Key Part of a Team Effort in Warriors Win

West Campus saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 65-54 win over the Mt. Shasta Bears.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Campus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Edmund Michalski, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. What's more, Michalski also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in January. Another player making a difference was Zach Villanueva, who posted 12 points in addition to eight assists and eight boards.

West Campus' victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Mt. Shasta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

West Campus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-46 defeat against Ripon on the 21st. As for Mt. Shasta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-46 win against Stockton Christian on the 21st.
