Basketball Recap: Wilson Christian Academy's Win Ends Ten-Game Losing Streak on the Road

The third road game was the charm for Wilson Christian Academy, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against the Southside Christian Warriors by a score of 55-42 on Tuesday. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 64-31 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Zach Pope and Luca Preciado certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Pope almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds, while Preciado posted nine points and five assists. Pope is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played.
