Baseball Recap: Clear Creek Comes Up Short

Clear Creek lost against Dawson School back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Golddiggers lost 13-4 to the Mustangs.

Landon Lewis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.

Clear Creek's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Dawson School, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clear Creek will welcome Arrupe Jesuit at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Dawson School, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Lyons at 11:00 a.m. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
