Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Troy walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Towanda Black Knights on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on 15 straight.
When it comes to explaining why Towanda lost, don't look at Karis Flynn. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs, six kills, and one block.
Troy's win bumped their record up to 25-2-1. As for Towanda, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
Troy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against North Penn-Liberty on the 28th. Towanda does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
