Recap: Middletown Christian Eagles vs. Noblesville L Lions
There's no place like home for The Middletown Christian Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They snuck past Noblesville L with a 12-6 win on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Middletown Christian's disadvantage in MaxPreps's football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 697th in Ohio, while Noblesville L is ranked 312th in Indiana).
Middletown Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Julianye Johnson out in front who gained 110 total yards and a touchdown. Middletown Christian also got a significant boost from Logan Mason, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 89 yards.
Middletown Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Noblesville L, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Middletown Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Noblesville L is also done with their season.
