Baseball Recap: Cocalico Takes a Loss

Cocalico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-0 to the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pioneers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2021.

Cocalico saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Fox, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Cocalico's record is now 0-3. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Cocalico is taking a road trip to face off against Elizabethtown at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, they will challenge J.P. McCaskey at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
