Franklin is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Newmarket, who was ranked fifth at the time (Franklin was ranked 21st). Franklin received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 39-24 to Newmarket. The game marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pittsfield). They managed a 37-31 win over Sunapee on Tuesday.

Franklin's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2. As for Pittsfield, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
