Eagleville waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Huntland Hornets 12-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-6 on Monday.

Maddox Bouldin made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Marshall Spann, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had over his last nine contests. Brady Burns was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Eagleville's record now sits at 19-4. As for Huntland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagleville will face off against Spring Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Huntland, they will take on Culleoka at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
