Baseball Recap: Waldron Takes a Loss

Waldron's last matchup with Hauser could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Mohawks came up short against the Jets, falling 9-1. The Mohawks' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Jackson Kuhn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and seven unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks.

Waldron's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for Hauser, their record is now 5-2.

While Waldron had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
