Recap: Glenelg Gladiators vs. River Hill Hawks
The Glenelg Gladiators lost against the River Hill Hawks back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Glenelg suffered a rough 64-43 loss at the hands of River Hill. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Glenelg in their matchups with River Hill: they've now lost five in a row.
It was another big night for Braden Sauritch, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals for River Hill. The contest was Sauritch's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was OJ Ndu, who scored 11 points.
Glenelg now has a losing record at 4-5. As for River Hill, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Glenelg will head out on the road to face off against Oakland Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oakland Mills is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. River Hill will take on Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Centennial has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 184 points over their last three games.
