Volleyball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Olympia's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cypress Creek, Olympia was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Windermere Wolverines. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Olympia had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-22.

Jacob Lee was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 21 digs and one assist. Those 21 digs gave him a new career-high.

Olympia is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Windermere, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Looking ahead, Olympia will welcome West Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Windermere, they are taking a road trip to square off against Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
