West Jordan has gone 9-1 against Cyprus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The West Jordan Jaguars will square off against the Cyprus Pirates at 7:00 p.m. West Jordan is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 77-30, which was the final score in West Jordan's tilt against Westlake two weeks ago. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Thunder are ranked 18th).

West Jordan's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jaidon Colbert, who posted seven points and five rebounds, and Mckay Franz, who had seven points.

Meanwhile, Cyprus came up short against Riverton on Tuesday and fell 74-63. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Jordan's record is now 1-10. As for Cyprus, their record now sits at 6-5.
