Flag Football Recap: Palmer Comes Up Short Despite Carissa Rickard's Big Defensive Game

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Palmer's offense. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Air Academy Kadets on Wednesday. The Terrors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palmer didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Carissa Rickard, Kennedy Berry, and Natalie Muro picked up one apiece. Rickard has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last three times she's played.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Air Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Palmer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Air Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Ponderosa at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
