Football Preview: West Point Warriors vs. East Limestone Indians        
        
		
             West Point hasn't had much luck against East Limestone recently, but that could start to change  on Friday. The West Point Warriors will take on the East Limestone Indians at 7:00  p.m. West Point will be strutting in after a  victory while East Limestone will be coming in after a  loss.
 Having struggled with six  defeats in a row dating back to last season, West Point finally turned things around against Priceville  on Friday. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of  28-21. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Hunter Hensley was the offensive standout of the  contest as he threw for 177 yards and a touchdown on only 15 passes, and also rushed for 58 yards.  Bryant Moon was  Hensley's top target, picking up 135 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Meanwhile, East Limestone fell victim to Lawrence County and their airtight defense  on Friday. They had to suffer through a   42-0 loss at the hands of the Red Devils. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings  (they are ranked 303rd, while the Red Devils are ranked 143rd).
 Despite the  loss, East Limestone had strong showings from  Adrian Villa, who rushed for 121 yards, and  Jake Cochran, who threw for 116 yards  on ten of 29 attempts.
 West Point's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for East Limestone, their defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 1-5.
 West Point came up short against East Limestone in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023, falling  24-17. Can West Point avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
