Neenah waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 28-24 W against the Oshkosh West Wildcats. Given the Rockets' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Wildcats are ranked 133rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Neenah's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Oshkosh West, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Neenah will take on Appleton North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lightning's defense has only allowed 12.2 points per game this season, so the Rockets' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Oshkosh West, they will head out to face off against Kaukauna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
