Volleyball Game Preview: Marshall Eagles vs. Pacifica Mariners

After both having extra time off, the Marshall Eagles and the Pacifica Mariners will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Marshall comes in on five and Pacifica on six.

Marshall is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Norwalk by a score of 3-1.

Among those leading the charge was Harlem Castro, who had 15 digs and two aces. Those 15 digs gave her a new career-high.

Castro wasn't the only good servers: Marshall was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 14 aces in five consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Pacifica got the win against Oakwood on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Marshall's record is now 20-4. As for Pacifica, their record now sits at 17-15.
