Brimfield won the last time they faced Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] and Anja Nelson did her part to make sure it happened again. The Indians came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Nelson, who had 14 digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Brimfield was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15.

Brimfield's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge], they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Brimfield has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Kewanee on the 27th. As for Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge], they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Knoxville on the 27th.
