Basketball Recap: Village's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Village lost against St. Agnes Academy on January 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The game between the Village Vikings and the St. Agnes Academy Tigers didn't end well, with the Village Vikings falling 53-35. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Village's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-12. As for St. Agnes Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Village will challenge Incarnate Word Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Village is facing Incarnate Word Academy at the right time seeing as Incarnate Word Academy is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for St. Agnes Academy, they will take on Concordia Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Agnes Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
