Volleyball Recap: Perry Pumas vs. Chandler Wolves
Perry came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with six straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Chandler Wolves with a sharp 3-0 win. The Pumas have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolves, too.
Perry walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-20.
Mckaley Herr paced Perry's offense, picking up ten kills. Herr got some help from
Lily Tolman and her 20 assists. Herr also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with
Avery Stones, racking up two apiece.
Perry's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-14. As for Chandler, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 games, which is still a better percentage than their 2-32-1 record this season.
