Basketball Recap: North Central Takes Down Kennewick in a Playoff Battle

North Central extended their postseason success on Saturday against Kennewick. They skirted past the Kennewick Lions 56-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolfpack have posted since December 10, 2024.

North Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Issac Williams out in front who posted 15 points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Williams a new career-high in points. Makai Daniels was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards.

North Central is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.6 points over those games. As for Kennewick, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.

As of now, neither North Central nor Kennewick have any future games scheduled.
