Baseball Recap: Castor Takes a Loss

Castor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Doyline Panthers. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 13-12.

Castor's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Doyline, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.

Castor has already played their next match, a 15-6 defeat against Haynesville on the 14th. As for Doyline, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Weston on the 11th.
