Baseball Recap: Otto-Eldred Terrors vs. Coudersport Falcons
Otto-Eldred extended their losing streak to five on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-5. They came up short against the Coudersport Falcons, falling 19-4. The Terrors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.
Otto-Eldred saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Sheeler, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Macaibe Splain, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
As for Coudersport, the win got them back to even at 2-2. With that victory, they brought their scoring average up to 8.5 runs per game.
On Coudersport's side, they let Lawon Wetzel and Mitchell Taylor run wild. Wetzel went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base, while Taylor went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Taylor has posted since back in April of 2025. Gavin Roessner was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
