Perry Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Sacred Heart Crusaders, falling 21-15. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Ethan Martin led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Jace Hill was another key player, scoring a run while going 4-for-5.

Even though they lost, Perry Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Perry Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Sacred Heart, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry Central will challenge Heidelberg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sacred Heart, they will take on Gautier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
