Basketball Recap: East Linn Christian Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Waldport

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Linn Christian Academy). They breezed past the Waldport Irish to the tune of 85-35 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Irish: they've now won four in a row.

East Linn Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Waldport, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. East Linn Christian Academy will need to watch out since Crosshill Christian has now posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Waldport, they will be playing at home against Toledo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Waldport is facing Toledo at the right time seeing as Toledo is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
