Volleyball Recap: Gibbs Comes Up Short

Gibbs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Powell Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-17.

Gibbs' loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Powell, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-5.

Coming up, Gibbs will be playing in front of their home fans against West at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Powell, they will challenge Jackson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
