Chillicothe entered their tilt with Unioto on Tuesday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Shermans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 14th.

Chillicothe not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Unioto between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-15.

Mercer Cutright paced Chillicothe's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cutright got some help from David Rourke and his 28 assists. Cutright was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Chillicothe pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Unioto, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chillicothe will face off against Hilliard Bradley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Unioto, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ross County Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Shermans surely won't give up without a fight.
