Elk River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Buffalo Bison, falling 6-1. Elk River were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Elk River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Buffalo, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-0-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Elk River nor Buffalo have any future games scheduled.
