Baseball Recap: Williamson Takes a Loss

Williamson came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Cowanesque Valley Indians, falling 13-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost five in a row.

Williamson got a good showing from Maddox Hartman, who tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

Williamson's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cowanesque Valley, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Williamson will square off against Smethport at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cowanesque Valley, they will challenge Northern Potter at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
