Softball Recap: Jacksonville Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Jacksonville's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Whitehouse Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Fightin' Indians in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Whitehouse, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-7.

Coming up, Jacksonville will head out to square off against Nacogdoches at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitehouse, they will be playing at home against Lufkin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
