Volleyball Recap: PikeView Comes Up Short

PikeView was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Liberty Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

PikeView may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0.

PikeView's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 12-5-1.

PikeView will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on James Monroe at 5:30 p.m. on October 9. As for Liberty, they will face off against Meadow Bridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
