Softball Recap: Mt. Rainier Comes Up Short

Mt. Rainier lost against Auburn Riverside back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rams came up short against the Ravens, falling 12-2. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Rainier's record is now 7-7. As for Auburn Riverside, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7.

Coming up, Mt. Rainier will venture away from home to take on Tahoma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for Auburn Riverside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kentridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Ravens' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
