Volleyball Recap: Lee Park Prep Takes a Loss

Lee Park Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-12, 25-27, 25-13.

Emma Shulenberger paced Lee Park Prep's offense, picking up ten kills. Shulenberger got some help from Addison Swann and her ten assists. Swann also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Morgan Swann, each putting up two.

Lee Park Prep's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Lee Park Prep has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Providence Classical on the 14th. As for Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Statesville Christian on the 3rd.
