Northwestern is a perfect 9-0 against Eastern since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Comets at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Eastern will be up against a hot Northwestern squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Tigers put the hurt on Rochester with a sharp 9-2 win on Tuesday. Nadia Rockey was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Eastern kept a clean sheet against Taylor on Tuesday. They blew past the Titans 4-0.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 5-8-1. As for Northwestern, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-1.

Everything went Northwestern's way against Eastern in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Northwestern made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
