Basketball Game Preview: Lynbrook Vikings vs. Santa Clara Bruins

The Lynbrook Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Santa Clara Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lynbrook has three straight wins, Santa Clara has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Lynbrook will head into Friday's match hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 24) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. Santa Clara's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Lynbrook, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Lynbrook beat Santa Clara 62-49 when the teams last played on January 8th. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Santa Clara's Giovanni Hansen, who posted 29 points.
