Baseball Recap: Ayala Beats Glendora for Their Fourth Straight Win

Ayala entered their tilt with Glendora on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Tartans 12-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-1 victory last Thursday.

Nolan Chuang looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dylan Wood, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Roman Lopez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Ayala kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.

Ayala's record now sits at 6-3. As for Glendora, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Ayala will face off against Mater Dei at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glendora, they will take on Diamond Bar at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Glendora is facing Diamond Bar at the right time seeing as Diamond Bar is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
