Angleton entered their tilt with Terry on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Rangers by a score of 3-1. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Rangers on their court since October 18, 2016.

Angleton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Sloan Greak and Gabby Gardner, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Austynn Coupland and her 16 assists. Greak was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Angleton's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Terry, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Angleton has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Klein Forest on the 28th. As for Terry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Benjamin Davis on the 28th.
