Baseball Recap: Royal Palm Beach Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oxbridge Academy last Friday, Royal Palm Beach came back down to earth. The Royal Palm Beach Wildcats lost 12-2 to the Seminole Ridge Hawks on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Royal Palm Beach saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robert Gonzalez, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Royal Palm Beach's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Seminole Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Royal Palm Beach will face off against Spanish River at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Spanish River's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Royal Palm Beach's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Seminole Ridge, they will take on Wellington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
