Basketball Recap: Academy of Richmond County Takes a Loss

Academy of Richmond County lost against Howard back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Academy of Richmond County Musketeers took a blow against the Howard Huskies , falling 67-34. The match marked the Musketeers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Academy of Richmond County and nudges their season record down to 8-13. As for Howard, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-12 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Academy of Richmond County will take on Harlem at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Harlem is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season. As for Howard, they will face off against Baldwin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwin has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 199 points over their last three contests.
