On Saturday, Robertson faced St. Michael in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Robertson Cardinals snuck past the St. Michael's Horsemen with an 80-75 victory. The win was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Robertson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brian Lucero led the charge by shooting 82% from the field to rack up 23 points. The last time Lucero's field goal percentage was this high was back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nathan Gonzales, who went 7-for-10 en route to 16 points along with five rebounds and four blocks.

Robertson pushed their record up to 24-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for St. Michael's, their loss dropped their record down to 21-6.

As of now, neither Robertson nor St. Michael's have any future games scheduled.
