Millard's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Karsen Stewart, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 19 points and three steals. Stewart continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jensen Davies, who went 6 for 14 en route to 18 points and six boards.
Millard was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Despite the loss, Water Canyon still got an impressive performance from Riley Jones, who went 10 of 18 on his way to 25 points and eight rebounds. Those 25 points gave Jones a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Domanik La Corti, who went 7 for 15 en route to 14 points and seven boards.
Millard's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14. As for Water Canyon, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
