Volleyball Game Preview: Fenton Bison vs. Glenbard East Rams + Official Tickets

After both having extra time off, the Fenton Bison and the Glenbard East Rams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fenton is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Fenton didn't have quite enough to beat Elmwood Park and fell 2-1. While the Bison didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 25-18 in the first set.

Fenton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-22, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Glenbard East earned a 2-0 victory over West Chicago on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

While Glenbard East won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20.

Fenton's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Glenbard East, their win bumped their record up to 10-18.

Fenton couldn't quite get it done against Glenbard East in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Bison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
