Softball Recap: Carl Hayden Community Comes Up Short

Carl Hayden Community lost against Camelback back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Carl Hayden Community Falcons fell 17-13 to the Camelback Spartans. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carl Hayden Community's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Camelback, they moved to 1-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carl Hayden Community will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McClintock at 3:45 p.m. on March 17th. After both having extra time off, Camelback and Dobson will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field one another at 3:45 p.m. on March 17th. Camelback has given up an average of 16.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
