Preview: Randleman Tigers vs. Trinity Bulldogs
Randleman has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Trinity Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Randleman focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Friday.
Last Friday, Randleman strolled past Providence Grove with points to spare, taking the game 58-39. 58 seems to be a good number for Randleman as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Randleman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Audra Petty, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Chenleigh Robinson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Trinity, who are still winless after their 17th matchup. They took a serious blow against Eastern Randolph on Friday, falling 54-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Trinity has suffered since December 15, 2023.
Randleman pushed their record up to 10-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.
Everything came up roses for Randleman against Trinity in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 49-10 victory. With Randleman ahead 36-4 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
