It was a good run, but Maeser Prep Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Rowland Hall Winged Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered since September 16th.

Maeser Prep Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Rowland Hall work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 26-24, 25-19.

Maeser Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Rowland Hall, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Maeser Prep Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Intermountain Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rowland Hall will challenge rival Waterford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
