Volleyball Recap: Falls Lake's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Falls Lake came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Eno River Academy Bobcats 3-0. The Firebirds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bobcats, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-6, 25-18.

Lily Voss paced Falls Lake's offense, picking up 12 kills. Voss got some help from Tess DeZurik and her 13 assists. DeZurik also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mackenzie Hudson, racking up four apiece.

Falls Lake's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Eno River Academy, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Falls Lake is set to face off against their familiar foe Discovery Charter School at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Eno River Academy will square off against rival Excelsior Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
