Basketball Recap: Wolfe County Comes Up Short

Wolfe County came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs, falling 73-47. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Wolfe County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Hazard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-2 record this season.

Wolfe County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hazard, they will be taking part in a tournament against Breathitt County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Breathitt County comes in on four and Hazard on 11.
