Basketball Recap: East Brunswick Comes Up Short

East Brunswick lost against South Amboy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The East Brunswick Bears lost 41-16 to the South Amboy Governors. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for South Amboy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

East Brunswick didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 91-41 loss against St. Thomas Aquinas on the 18th. As for South Amboy, they will head out to challenge Wardlaw Hartridge at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Wardlaw Hartridge's defense has only allowed 24.9 points per game this season, so South Amboy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
