Preview: Tenoroc Titans vs. Frostproof Bulldogs
The Tenoroc Titans will be playing at home against the Frostproof Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Tenoroc comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Tenoroc suffered their biggest defeat since December 7, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by Auburndale 76-32. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tenoroc in their matchups with Auburndale: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, Frostproof pushed their score all the way to 56 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They had to suffer through a rough 111-56 loss at the hands of Wesley Chapel. Frostproof was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 69-27.
The losing side was boosted by Sevastian Rosado, who scored 29 points along with three steals. That was a full 51.8% of Frostproof's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Williams, who scored six points.
Frostproof struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Wesley Chapel pulled down 21 offensive rebounds.
Tenoroc bumped their record down to 0-14 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Frostproof, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-5.
Tenoroc was taken down by Frostproof 75-48 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023.
